The today's Beltrán Hotel was a building built in 1770 by Gabriel Beltrán de Santa Cruz & Aranda, who received in 1770 the title of Count of Jaruco. The mansion's property was successively passed to descendants of one of the most distingushed citizen of Havana, the Count of Cárdenas de Monte Hermoso.

The Beltrán de Santa Cruz Hotel is managed by a restoration enterprise, Habaguanex. All the hotel's profits destined to the historical center's restoration.
